STIGA star Guo Yue completed the hat-trick by becoming Women’s Doubles World Champion for the third time! After winning the 2009 Yokohama and 2011 Rotterdam WTTC titles, the Chinese lefthander just completed the hat-trick by winning the 2013 Paris title together with Li Xiaoxia! What an outstanding achievement!

The STIGA Stars Xu Xin, Liu Guoliang and Fan Zhendong visited the STIGA stand in Paris the other day. The players are preparing in Paris for the upcoming Men’s Singles event at the World Championships in Bercy, Paris.

World No.1 Xu Xin has so far been the one that have been practising the most of the players inside the Chinese Men’s Team. Every practise session have included either a multiball session or extra practise when the other ones have been stretching and resting.

Head Coach and STIGA ambassador Liu Guoliang has paid lots of attention to Xu Xin, practising multiball and giving advices. Every small detail is discussed and practised.

Fan Zhendong, being the youngest in the team, by far (16 years old) have been practising hard too. His partners during the first days of practise have this far been the players with the most experience and knowledge: Wang Hao, Ma Lin and Wang Liqin but also one of the best players in the world right now, Ma Long. The World Junior Champion Fan Zhendong learns more and more from every day and could be a surprise during this World Championships – for everyone!

Outstanding throughout April with wins in World Team Classic, Korea Open and Asia Championships, Xu Xin regains his position at the top of the Men’s World Rankings, a place he held earlier in the year in January and February, before being replaced in March by Chinese National Team compatriot, Ma Long.

On the Men’s listings published by the International Table Tennis Federation on Wednesday 1st May 2013, the rankings that will determine the seeding for the Men’s Singles events at the forthcoming LIEBHERR World Championships.

New STIGA player Fan Zhendong has been selected for the Chinese Team for the WTTC in Paris. Chinese Head Coach and STIGA ambassador Liu Guoliang picked the young junior player as one of the players who now will represent China in the Men’s Singles event.

Fan Zhendong teams up with STIGA Player Xu Xin for the WTTC Men’s Singles event, together with Ma Long, Zhang Jike, Wang Hao, Yan An and Ma Lin.
